Cruella by ..mhm Disney?

Cruella or the 2021 moviewheel is accelerating 😎

When Cruella was announced with Emma Stone, I was like damnnnnn 2 years to go. Seemed so far. It was 2019. Now 2019 seems nostalgically far itself. I’m on the other end, looking back. Emma’s last movie came out in 2019 and I really, truly missed her these years. Can’t imagine her Easy A, where she caught my heart was 11 years ago. Damn. Anyway.

It takes an extraordinary movie & 6 months to make me come back here and write about movies. This particular movie. Honestly, it was a blast!

Cruella’s insanely cool entertainment. And what do I love about movies? Entertainment! It had eyegasmic gowns, dresses and fashion. (Best Costume Design Oscar? 👍) and so many witty parallels to Devil Wears Prada, Terminator (😅), Joker and the recent Maleficent. Just look at these 😱😱😈

There was a scene where she uses light to burn her dress and turn it into another dress. My GOD! That was breathtaking.

But all the fashion aside, as far as origin stories go — Cruella was Magnificent! It had drama, coming-of-age story, talent, boldness, compassion, life lessons, ACTING and a psychotic script! 🔥

You can watch it either on Disney+ or Cinemas. I’d recommend Cinemas!
