Rocketman or musical biopic done right

Oh Man! It doesn’t have a new approach or style or out-of-the-box writing, yet it’s a phenomenal biopic about a musical legend. Someone I personally don’t like very much & don’t listen to but still. Rocketman has fantastic acting, cinematography, score & writing. It doesn’t wander away from cliched script points like a douchebag music producer, being gay and struggling because of it, wanting love, betraying friends & broken family. But it still shines on its own.

Taron Edgerton even has Elton’s mannerisms, he really did his homework on studying the character he’s to play. And I think he performed the music in here which makes it cooler. Rocketman has fantastic music numbers. Like legit, awesome ones, choreographed in absolute magic way. It’s a blast.

TBH there’s nothing else I can tell you about Rocketman. It’s not a masterpiece yet it’s very enjoyable. You might as well go see it in the theaters.
