Sex Education: Season 1
Sex Education or Netflix is on fire with it’s original content
Netflix has been shooting MAMAZING content since 2013 when it came out with House of Cards. What came next is history. They pour billions of dollars to shoot amazing tv shows every year and beating the best studious, even enraging the best directors as they’re taking lots of movie goers from cinemas every year. But you have to give it to them — they are sensational in what they do.
Sex Education came on Netflix on January this year. I’ve been holding off from seeing it for a while. I knew it must be very good as 8.5/10 is a decent rating for a teen focused TV show. But FUCK it’s so much more. There’s this “O captain, my captain” moment where it went from amazing to phenomenal in a heartbeat
Then there’s a scene about things that stick and reputation which was unusually emotional. It has lots of bits on friendships, love and feelings told in a super honest manner. And high school — the weirdest years of everybody’s lives.
I mean we’ve all gone to school and I’ve learned that this has happened to literally everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, popular or not, if you’re from Europe or US or in Africa. This shit happens. And it’s okay.
Sex Education is a great piece of storytelling. And this is something that can and should get a season 2.
Thank you
