Look, if you’re a huuge movie fan and have seen thousands of films, appreciate ART element rather than screenplay and like weird stuff then you’ll enjoy this. Go see it and get the f out of my face already 🙄

I’m a screenplay fanatic! And I don’t enjoy arthouse..mostly. But the ratings were so high I thought I might give it a try. 🤷🏻‍♀️ eh 😐

All the pathetic bullshit aside It has no real content whatsoever. There’s an abundance of metaphors, mythological elements, show-offy B&W-ness, weird voices, language that is plain impossible to understand — murmurs mostly and okay acting. I already forgot what happened at the end. Like legit I just watched it and I forgot 🤯 And I get that the script was not the point of this film. I get that it’s “different” and it is supposed to be like this. But still.

Robert Eggers has also directed one of my most-hated horrors a couple of years ago — VVitch. If you liked it, you may try this one as well. It has similar aura.

BTW this B&W shit is too pseudo-deep. The only reason you go for it is to seem “different” and cover the lack of story. In reality, it’s just pathetic. A desperate attempt to stand out from the crowd.
