Uncut Gems: A non-AdamSandler movie

This one was a revelation. Not just for me tho. Didn’t have it in my watchlist until some of my fav reviewers included it in their top10s of 2019.

An “Adam Sandler movie” means smth by itself. It’s an expression that means a stupid, dorky comedy with Adam Sandler acting the same way in every movie. But this one’s different. It’s a Safdie Brothers movie with Adam Sandler acting and Martin Scorsese producing 😱. So was it good?

Well. It wasn’t bad actually. Not smth I’d rewatch but smth new definitely. It’s a non-stop adrenaline filled feature with lots of shouting, cursing, and on-edge situations.

To be perfectly honest — not my cup of tea but still good enough. It lacked character/script depth and layers but still kept entertaining.
